Year 12 Science Day: Saturday 19th March
Our annual Science Day for Year 12 students is always very popular, so we recommend early booking! For more information and to access the downloadable booking form, please visit this webpage: http://www.newn.cam.ac.uk/joining-newnham/undergraduate-admissions/open-days-events/content/student-open-days#Year_12_Science_Open_Day.

Year 12 Subject Taster Days: 14th, 15th, 17th & 18th February
Due to the popularity and success of similar events last year, we have extended our programme of Subject Taster Days for arts and humanities subjects. This year we are offering the following days:

Mon 14th February: ENGLISH
Tues 15th February: ARCHAEOLOGY & ANTHROPOLOGY, AND ANGLO-SAXON, NORSE & CELTIC
Thurs 17th February: GEOGRAPHY
Fri 18th February: POLITICS, PSYCHOLOGY & SOCIOLOGY, AND PHILOSOPHY

These are open to high-achieving students from every school, and we offer a series of lectures, seminars and/or workshops on each day, led by leading academics. Advice will also be offered to students, regarding choosing a subject to study at university level, and the Cambridge admissions process. Attendance is free of charge, but we expect students (or the school) to arrange their own travel to and from the event. For more details about these opportunities, and how to book places, please see “Subject Taster Days” on this webpage: http://www.newn.cam.ac.uk/joining-newnham/undergraduate-admissions/open-days-events/content/student-open-days#SubjectTaster.

The booking deadline for these events is Wednesday 26th January.
