Greenwich University Taster days June 2011

Computing and Mathematical Sciences taster day: Wednesday 29th June 2011 9.30am-3pm Greenwich Campus
-Year 12 students wanting to study Computing or Maths at University
First hand knowledge on University life and experience areas of the subject that are taught on the degree
Experience being a uni student for the day             


  • Lights camera action: Film and TV production , use of Apple Mac suite
  • Maths based: Maths and statistics courses, research projects and other info

Humanities and Social Sciences school conference Date in June TBD 9.30am- 3pm Greenwich Campus
-Year 12 students
Students thinking of studying a Humanites course at University
Partake in workshops, experience University life for a day.
  • Workshop on conflict- all aspects
  • Thinking about the green problem- environmental issues
  • Bling  Society- Sociology- Are we lost generation of consumers ‘bling culture’
