Message from the exams office

• If anyone is still waiting for a refund for re-sit fee’s for summer 2011, please come and see the exams office as the cheques are now ready

• There are still many students who have not paid for their re-sit’s for January. These need to be paid as soon as possible. If there is a problem, please speak to either myself or Jackie in the exams office.

• The missing Edexcel certificates have now been delivered so any students who are waiting for these again need to see us. I also have more certificates from Bexleyheath and Erith.

• Students awaiting timetables for January examinations can collect these from Ellen Forde in the Sixth Form office.

MESSAGE

YEAR 12 WILL HAVE ASSEMBLY MONDAY (COMMON ROOM), WEDNESDAY (MAIN HALL) AND FRIDAY (COMMON ROOM)

YEAR 13 WILL BE IN TUTOR GROUPS APART FROM ON WEDNESDAY FOR ASSEMBLY IN THE MAIN HALL.

Training Day at Erith Monday 3rd October

Erith are having a Training Day on 

Monday 3rd October 

Therefore if you have lessons at Erith on a Monday you will not be required to attend
Students will need to remain  at Welling and use this time for private study.

The sixth form will be supporting KS3 AND 4 activity days on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st July.

 

Pupils need to liaise with departments and help offer /run workshops, can you find out which department you want to work with by next Wednesday

 

Remember that some of you are on the trip to the Somme or may be involved in the 02 summer school. Therefore, you can't sign up.

The students who are claiming EMA at the moment & returning in September, do not have to fill out another form. They have to ring the hotline & they will be given a NOE number when they get this they need to bring it to Sandy Kent (Attendance Officer) she will then be able to put this on the system and process your payments.

Do you drive to Bexleyheath?

Students that drive to Bexleyheath for their lessons must display a Parking Permit (obtainable from Mrs Gray at Bexleyheath). If there is no permit on display the car is at risk of being clamped.

Intervention for ALL Yr12 Media Students

Miss Whittaker has organised a couple of early morning intervention sessions next week for ALL AS Media students. It is on the section of the exam that you are all very worried about and will be led by the amazing Mrs Moore, so all students are expected to attend and Miss Whittaker will want explanations for any absences.

 

The sessions will run on Tuesday 10th May 8.00-9.55 and Wednesday 11th May 8.00-8.55 in E18, meaning that you will miss registration.

 

Academic Review Day

Erith will be holding the Partnership 6^th Academic Tutoring Day on Wednesday 30^th March and there will therefore be no Post 16 lessons that day.

Welling Parent's Evening is next Wednesday 30th March, please make sure you make appointments with your teachers
