BROWNS - Bluewater Vacancies to be filled immediately
Mark Goldberg who is the Head Chef of a restaurant called Browns in Bluewater. Browns will be opening 10th November and he is recruiting now! He needs:
· Chefs
· Bar Staff
· Waiters/Waitress
· Host/Hostess
There will be an open day at the Learning Shop on Saturday 22nd October where immediate interviews will take place. Mark will be interviewing from 10am - 4pm tomorrow and Saturday.

Careers conferences for students who want to become Doctors or Lawyers
We organise careers conferences for students. Places are available at our next events:

Please forward this information to your Careers Advisers and students who are considering becoming doctors or lawyers.
The careers conferences are principally designed for students in Year 11 and Year 12. Other students, careers advisers, teachers and parents are also welcome to attend.
These events give students the opportunity to:
- Gain practical advice on getting into university and the profession of their choice
- Talk to university admissions tutors and university students
- Find out about the career and its specialist fields
- Speak with solicitors, barristers / doctors
- Discuss their academic options, alternatives and related careers

Pharmacy taster day - Greenwich University
Pharmacy Taster Day
Year 13 and FE Year 2 Students
Who is this for?
FE college Year 2 and Year 13 students who are interested in pharmacy as a career.
What is the aim?
●● To explore the role of the pharmacist and find out about courses and careers
●● To discover what makes a strong application.
What will the students learn?
Staff give presentations on the different routes into pharmacy and what admissions staff look for in prospective students, while
students talk about what the programmes are really like. There is also an opportunity to have a tour of the campus and take part in a workshop covering:
● The making of ointments
● A clinical demonstration
● The process of dispensing drugs.

The QS World University Tour will visit London on Saturday 8th October.
The exhibition offers the students the chance to meet with admissions staff from prestigious international universities and get expert answers to the questions that matter to them.
As we know, competition for places is tougher than ever before. So there has never been a better time to find out about the world of educational opportunity that is available to students both at home and abroad, and learn from the experts how to make their application stand out from the crowd.
As well as meeting the world’s leading universities, there will also be seminars on topics including: study in the USA, study in Australia, applying to the UK's top universities, and how to apply for a scholarship. What’s more, there will be a free goodie bags for the first 100 attendees.
